Claude Bühler (SG/CH)

Claude Bühler is a Swiss artist, who lives and works in the east part of Switzerland. She works mainly with photography and sound. His work examines notions of collectivity and intimacy by creating soft spaces and provoking performative moments, that allow small acts of liberation. In their image- and sound-based practice, an affinity for technology, a willingness to set boundaries within conversations and an interest in moving between the visible and the dream-like are important points of orientation. Their live sound-performances are organized around a self-built modular synth and are mostly fully free improvised. She likes to experiment with analog feedback technics and granular patterns.
