La Loggia (AG/CH)
Paula Haeni is part of a young movement of musicians who seek to break down the boundaries between genres and explore new avenues. She engages intensively with electronic and contemporary music, combining these influences with improvisation and performative elements, whilst also composing and creating installations. Paula Haeni focuses primarily on low-register clarinets, placing the bass and contrabass clarinets at the centre of her work and exploring the possibilities of these unique instruments. Contemporary and transdisciplinary projects are at the heart of her work; she is a member of, amongst others, the latenz ensemble, the Insub Meta Orchestra and Blau Salvatge. Alongside her freelance work, Paula La Loggia Haeni teaches at the Bern University of the Arts. She also organises, supervises and manages numerous projects.
