Baix (VD/CH)

Baix is the duo of former troubadours Naomi Cohen (electric bass) and Jeanne Pâris (voice).

Both coming from classical conservatory training, the two joyful minstrels met in 2023, sharing a common desire to reinterpret the so-called “classical” repertoire differently.By blending musical techniques and gestures borrowed from classical music with those of psychedelic rock, noise, jazz, and funk, Baix creates a sonic anachronism and gives birth to a hybrid music, part melancholic jester, part galactic knight.
